The great experience of the historic centrifuge manufacturer REMI, combined with Giorgio Bormac's research, made it possible to create a line of centrifuges suited to the European market, in terms of performance and aesthetics.

The project is in continuous evolution and still today, after several years of activity, we keep offering new models and improving the existing ones.

In addition to centrifuges, we offer a full range of accessories to meet every type of need.

The centrifuge family expands with the addition of the R8D and R10-M laboratory models. More and more laboratories rely on the brand distributed by Giorgio Bormac. The new models embrace the functional and aesthetic needs of our market, as well as being reliable and economical.

For the first time, Giorgio Bormac develops its own line of portable instruments for pH and conductivity analysis, which it will launch under the XS instruments brand, in collaboration with an important Chinese manufacturer. Given the constant and growing increase in sales, it becomes necessary to expand, so we move to the new headquarters, where we still continue our activity today.

This year also marks the start of the tradition of the Bormac Days, which would be repeated consistently in the following years given its success.

It is a day dedicated to engaging with our Italian resellers, to compare notes, improve and present our new products. And of course we take the opportunity to sit down at the table with a smile, in front of a good local salami, a couple of flakes of Parmigiano Reggiano and a glass of Lambrusco. In addition to the Bormac Days, we also inaugurate the Partner meetings, the same concept as the Bormac Days but with foreign partners.

The XS sensor brand is born, the first line of electrodes designed by Giorgio Bormac and produced in Switzerland according to our directives.XS instruments is enriched with a whole new line of benchtop instruments for pH and conductivity and a new line of testers, instruments developed internally.

Now that we have control of the entire measurement chain (instrument - sensor - buffer solutions) we can guarantee even better performances, and work on the innovation of our products.

The GB turning point begins: after years of pure consultancy and resale, the MADE IN ITALY project starts. By involving local companies and suppliers, we move the production of electrochemical instrumentation to Italy, more precisely to Emilia. A zero-km production. This allows us to manage stock availability much better, constantly guaranteeing prompt delivery and unbeatable prices. We can also focus on research and product development based on the feedback that all of you resellers / customers provide.

We go further and patent DHS technology: intelligent pH electrodes able to store the calibration. The peculiarity is that, when connected to an XS DHS instrument, they achieve maximum performance while remaining compatible with all the pH meters on the market.
